Frameless (Base Shoe)

Glass set into a continuous aluminum channel at the floor. The cleanest look — nothing but glass above the shoe.

Standoff Mounted

Glass held by polished stainless standoffs fixed to the side of the structure. Minimal hardware, floating appearance.

Post & Clamp

Glass panels held between stainless posts with clamps. The most economical system, and the most flexible on uneven runs.

Glass with Top Rail

A capped handrail across the top of the glass — often required for code on stairs and commercial installs.

Glass & Hardware Options

Every railing is made to order — the glass and hardware you choose shape both the look and the performance.

  • Tempered glass — About four times stronger than annealed glass and breaks into small blunt pieces. The standard for interior railings.
  • Laminated glass — A bonded interlayer holds the panel together even when cracked, which is why it’s specified for balconies, terraces, and elevated exterior runs.
  • Low-iron glass — Removes the green tint for a truly clear panel; most noticeable on thick glass and exposed edges.
  • Frosted or textured glass — Adds privacy on a balcony or terrace while still passing light.
  • Hardware finishes — Polished or brushed stainless, matte black, powder-coated to spec.
  • Handrail options — Round or square cap rail, or no top rail at all where code allows.

Site Survey

We measure the run, check what we’re anchoring into, and confirm the height and load the code requires for your specific installation — interior stair, balcony, and commercial railings are all held to different standards.

Engineering & Specification

Span, height, and wind exposure determine the glass thickness, the type, and the anchoring system. This is the step that decides whether the railing is base-shoe, standoff, or post-mounted.

Fabrication

Panels are cut and processed to the exact dimensions of the run, with edges polished and any cut-outs for hardware made before tempering.

Installation & Sign-Off

Our installers anchor the system, set and plumb every panel, and load-check the finished run before we leave. 2-year warranty on the project, 4 years on hardware.
